Kris Price was born 21^st September 1972 in Munster Germany. He is the youngest of 4 children. He currently lives in the very rural county of Herefordshire and one of his keen loves is his dog Shadow (A Siberian Husky).

This page will be dedicated to interviews that are undertaken with Kris about his work as a medium. This will be updated regularly so please check back and many thanks to Kris for supplying some of the pictures.

How it started?

Kris believes he has always had the ability to see or feel “energy” and “communicate” with spirit, but dismissed the ability for many years. “You get to a point where you do try to find the logic. Is it coincidence? Do I hear voices and see things or am I mad?”  Kris believes one of his strongest strengths started first. "It comes from my lower chakkra that influences my clairsentient ability". To-date Kris claims his strengths is in communication and feeling, but recalls one of his most earliest experiences….

“I remember on trips with family and friends to places of interest. I would just come out with the most bizarre things even at an early age. For example, I recall being taken to one particular place that was dedicated to the civil war. We stood there buying our tickets. At first, I saw the active sprit energy of a monk walk by. Then residually I was able to sense ill people and others caring for them. I actually said ‘This used to be a hospital’.  Obviously my party gave me some very strange looks. After paying the £3 to buy the guide book, my friend opened the first page and indeed it was a building once run by monks and used as a hospital.”.  Kris said he could describe many incidents like this one.

His connection with his Spirit Guide came later. 

Kris’ Sprit Guide & Investigations

Kris is very humble when he describes the work he does. “Firstly I have to say that without my guide I really wouldn’t be very good at what I do.”  Kris calls his guide Roz (Short for Rosemarie). He claims to have known her some years ago before she passed away and also in a previous life. He will never give too many specific details about her, as she has living relatives today and he would hate to cause distress to them. “I will say she isn’t just my guide. She is also a wonderful teacher and friend”.

Kris has participated in many Paranormal Investigations ranging from Castles, Inns, Houses and Schools throughout the UK and even abroad. He has even been known to stand in the middle of a field and start relaying information.  

Investigators often express their shock at how many specific facts Kris mentions, especially when the location has been kept a secret from him. It's not unusual for Kris to come out with more than 50 facts than about a person or location when he is tested.   One investigator said "Unless he had the opportunity to research, or go to the building before and interview the owner/employees, which is unlikely, then he often spot on. Often the activity he encourages, that is witnessed and experienced by so many people seems beyond coincidence. Once, with the exception of 2 people, a location was not announced to other members of the team until 1 hour prior to it starting. Kris wasn’t told at this time, but when he arrived he still managed to come up with more than 50 verifiable details about the property and owner.  I often dismiss psychics as they generalise with their anecdotal points, but I cant offer a non-paranormal explanation for his much of his work"

He has also been tested live on Radio and Television. On one occasion Kris was told he would be interviewed in the grounds of Hereford Cathedral for the interview but to meet at the studio. Once at the studio he was informed that they had switched the journalist and location to trick him should he have done prior research. The location was the Hereford Studio itself. Listeners accurately heard Kris coming up with details and these being confirmed by the journalist interviewing him.  Many other Tests of his ability regularly occur with academics and scientists thinking of new methods to test Kris's abilities.

Criticism

I asked Kris how he “felt about people who claim all mediums and psychics are fakes or con-artists?” He replied, “Well my first job is to work for spirit and not to work towards converting the planet into believing in what I believe. I accept that most people are conditioned to believe in what is considered as “normal” from a very early age.  It is interesting that someone most have put in the rules of normality from the start. But you are right, sadly. Some con-artists and possibly bad psychics do work within the profession. But there are people who could have these labels in all vocations. I just hope that if anyone has had a bad experience with a psychic it doesn’t put them off going to see another one. After all, if you had an experience with a bad plumber or car mechanic who conned you, then that wouldn’t prevent you using one again would it?

Always, look at your own personal motives for going and I suggest you visit someone through a recommendation of another family member or friend”.

Death and Grief

I asked Kris his opinion on how people see death. “I hope that those who go to visit a medium get to walk away with some assurance that when the physical body finishes it’s current existence, it is no more than a state of change and not the end.  

However, if anyone has experienced losing a loved one then we all know how difficult that is. It’s such a unique individual sadness that is so personalised. There is a myth that exists where people believe you get over losing someone. You don’t! What you do is learn to live with it and find other distractions enter your life making it easier to live with. This is something that obviously takes time and is different for everyone. Often it’s just as hard for loved ones to be around the person grieving as you feel so helpless and know it can take time. But never be afraid to ask that person grieving “how are you?” The human condition often makes us avoid topics that are difficult. You may think you know the answer to that question, but it’s more a case of often letting someone know that you care and are interested in how someone feels.  

If you are thinking of visiting a medium due to the loss of a loved one, please think sensibly about why you want the reading. A medium can’t bring a loved one back they way you probably want them to”.
